In the land of Hyrcania, Sonja, a young girl, becomes a fearless warrior after a brutal attack that destroys her family. Years later, she lives in the dense forests with her faithful horse until she is captured by the ambitious ruler Emperor Dragan. Dragan, with the help of his wife Anisia and General Karlak, employs Sonja as a gladiator in his bloody arenas. Allying with other warriors, including Hook and Petra, Sonja rises up against Dragan’s tyranny. Along the way, she confronts her painful past and, guided by her mother, Ashra, and her inner strength, becomes the leader of the rebels. In the final battle in the forest, Sonja, with sacrifice and courage, defeats Dragan and Anisia and frees her people, but at a heavy cost that changes her future.
